It snowed. Got stuck for a day but it was so worth it sat and looked out at the snowy mountains. If you have the oppurtunity to stay at Country Days do it. I am sure you will love it too. The views were spectactular even on days when the weather was not completely cooperative. We just kept going outside on the multiple decks to take in the views and smell the great outdoors. Several members of our party were as we say "flat-landers", and were completely in awe of this mountain cabin experience. It had been my dream for some time to get everyone together at a cabin in the mountains. Therefore, it was so very important that this first time be a success. It was so sucessful that we were talking about next year's visit half way though our stay. All four generations in our party found their particular area of the cabin that completely suited them to a tee. We took home many wonderful memories along with our pictures. We had plenty of room, and the beds were very comfortable. Our small children had a blast also. The view was great. Even the porch area's was just perfect. We all felt safe here. Since I lost my son in 2008, our family didn't even take vacations together. Last year 2009 was a Myrtle Beach,but this year was even better. We have talked about a cruise in 2011, but our hearts are set on coming back to this property. All 14 of us call it our home away from home. We have been to the Smokey Mountains four times before this and have stayed in cabins each time; Country Days was definitely the best of them all. The house was very nice with up to date furnishings. Well maintained. Would stay again.
