We were in town for a convention and were going to get hotel rooms. However, opted to get a cabin and split the cost. This worked out wonderful. The rental was exactly like the photos. I loved the decor. Everyone raved on the wonderful mattresses. It felt like I was at home in my own bed. The other couples liked the mattresses so much, they pulled the sheets down to find out what brand they were so they could purchase one themselves. Very conveniently located 3 miles from Pigeon Forge, with a great back street that would get you around the main drag traffic if you so desired, and yes ladies, will easily "dump" you out at the outlet malls without any problem!!! We have been to Pigeon Forge and the Gatlinburg area many times, but I can say without hesitation this was the most memorable and enjoyable, due to our cozy accommodations. The staff at the office was so pleasant and made the check-in process so easy. Will definitely return for Memorial Day and will want to stay in the same cabin!!! Scott Robbins - Eaton, OH   Over the past 5 years we have rented a variety of cabins in the area, using a total of five different rental agencies. Holiday Chalet (and Colonial Properties Cabin & Resort Rentals) was the most pleasing to us. My wife loves the wonderful sofa and the huge TV. We enjoyed the view from the deck, and soaked in the hot tub enjoying that view. We had absolutely no complaints about this rental experience, and have no qualms about recommending Colonial to our friends and relatives. We had rented from Colonial previously, and noted that their already good check-in process had improved even more. My daughter actually got it on video. That was great! Being in the Smokies is so surreal and we are blessed to be able to be here. We ordered the cabin off line and we were scared if the cabin looked like the pictures on line. But when we got there, it was just like the pictures and it had a very nice view of the mountains. The cabin was affordable and very clean and bug free. Ot had two very nice fireplaces, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. This cabin was very close to everything and not hard to find. We loved the staff at Colonial Properties and they were very helpful and nice. We would stay at one of their cabins again. Thanks for all the good times and we will be back.
