Each year in the fall, we come to Pigeon Forge to make our annual trip to the Christmas Place Store to buy our Family Christmas Ornament for the year. It has been a tradition now for the past 6 years. We have always stayed in a motel, which is very crowded for a family of 7. This is our first year to rent a cabin/lodge from Colonial Properties. We rented the "Wandering Bear Lodge". We loved it!!! There was so much room!! and the privacy was perfect. It was clean and decorated very nicely. It was like being at home. I would definitly rent a cabin/lodge again from Colonial Properties. The staff is excellent. Scott, at the check-in desk, makes you feel right at home. I asked him lots of questions and he was very knowlegable, courteous, and very friendly. Nothing compares to this type of experience when you are vacationing away from home. Having a big family it is hard to find a place to accommodate with a price to fit our budget. At Wandering Bear we had both and more. Abundant space with privacy for everyone. Also, being between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge made for a great location.
