This cabin was great...truly a log cabin. Very clean, comfortable furnishings...and very child friendly. Nestled in the hills with the running brook, it was unreal. You can sit on the wrap around porches and hear the water and the trees, it was just breathtaking. The outside pavilion with the swing and table was of great use along with plenty of roaming area for the kids. Also the visit from the bear was awesome!!!!! WE had our family Christmas at Norton creek Hideaway and it was perfect for my grandchildren. Enough room for them to roam around. Truly loved the scenery. The Wii was a big hit being that on our first day there it rained all day. Loved just being there with family, wish the weather had been a little warmer so that I could have opened the windows at night to listen to the creek. Overall a great experience.
