The Overlook

We rented the cabin to celebrate Thanksgiving as a family, some live in Ohio and some in Georgia. This year we met in the middle and we had a wonderful time. We are even talking about doing it again next year! Your cabin was perfect for our family.

What a great cabin! I loved the privacy. After seeing many of the cabins piled on top of each other I was so thankful for the privacy of this one. The views were so great! Also got to spend time in the hot tub with the snow, it was was just like the movies! What a great time!

This was our best vacation ever! The Overlook was perfect. We went with my sister in law and her family and it was wonderful. At the end of the day we would just sit on the deck look at the mountains, and relax with nature, doing nothing while the kids played pool. If you want to be away from it all, this is definitely the cabin. We are already making plans to go back next summer.

We have stayed in lots of cabins thru several different companies and Colonial has been the best by far!!!! Friendly, willing to help, honest, clean and overall cabins have been excellent. As long as they have availabilities, we will stay with Colonial!! Thanks for a great weekend away! We had a great and relaxing time!!

Our experience was very good. The chalet was spacious, comfortable, clean, and accommodated two couples plus two teenage boys, a five year old boy, and a twenty-four year old handicapped young man.

We had a great time. Didn't last long enough, could have stayed another week. The facilities were comfortable and cozy. Look forward to going there again.

The cabin is absolutely beautiful and secluded. It was very clean and everything was as it should be.

The view was excellent. We had ten people with us and there was more than enough room for everyone. Can't wait to come back and stay in The Overlook again!!

We have always dreamed of a mountain getaway with our family. We greatly appreciate the privacy of The Overlook as well as the scenery. It was just as we imagined! Secluded, peaceful and beautiful! If you are looking for a peaceful, beautiful location The Overlook would be what you are looking for! Loved the fact that we were secluded on a mountain top, yet just minutes away from Gatlinburg, Dollywood and Old Mill District. Pretty much anything we wanted to do was only minutes away! Thank you Colonial Properties for such a seamless transaction from booking the cabin to checking in and out! We will definitely be back and will be using Colonial Properties for our future vacations. We traveled with 4 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 small children. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, but also plenty of space for everyone to gather in the living area or for meals. I would definitely recommend!
