About The Village
One of Gatlinburg’s most popular shopping destinations is The Village Shops. Modeled after a quaint European town, The Village perfectly blends old-world charm and character with amazing shopping opportunities.
Construction on The Village began in 1965 and over the span of three years, the vision and construction of The Village came together to create the beautiful shopping complex that we know and love today.
The Village is a collection of 27 unique shops and eateries adorned by thick roofing slates, heavy carved doors, antique trim molding, gas lighting fixtures and handmake bricks.
Some of the popular shops in The Village are: The Day Hiker, Life is Good, Tervis, The Donut Friar, The Village Café and Eatery and God’s Corner.
