1 Bedroom Waterfront Cabins You'll Want to Stay In

Relax at one of these intimate one-bedroom cabins, perched next to streams, rivers, or ponds.

1. GERVINWOLD CREEKSIDE

This bright blue cabin looks like a bit of sky floated down and landed next to a bubbling creek. The water rushes below you as you stand on the deck surrounded by greenery. With cool, contemporary decor, this creekside cabin is a calm getaway for two. Want to invite friends? The cabin can accommodate up to six people, thanks to a sleeping loft and sleeper sofa.

2. RIVER RUSH

What an adorable one-bedroom, two-bathroom cabin! Located on the Little Pigeon River, you’ll be lulled by the sounds of water as you fall asleep during your Pigeon Forge vacation! Surrounded by trees and the sound of nature, this is a natural oasis!

3. BACK TO NATURE

Grab your fishing pole! This gem sits beside a stocked catch-and-release pond. Log cabin construction holds a beautifully rustic interior, with a unique dining table and huge stone fireplace. Back to Nature sleeps four. The bedroom features a custom-carved bed and the loft holds a king bed, in-room soaking tub, and private seating area.

4. BAREFOOT BY THE RIVER

Nature lovers will delight in this riverbank cabin for two. Sit outside in a rocking chair and watch for deer, bears, and birds. Go fishing or kayaking right out your back door, in waters flowing from the Smoky Mountains. When you’re tuckered out, retreat to the king bedroom with its heart-shaped jetted tub, or let the stone fireplace warm you.

5. RIVER REFLECTIONS

Built from logs hewn in the 19th century, this riverside cabin for two has Smokies history outside and modern comforts inside. The bedroom features a full-sized stone fireplace and the bathroom has an oversized, jetted tub. Outside, the big, level yard provides room for playing Frisbee or cooking out. Fish or wade in the river, or just listen to it rushing past as you drink coffee on the deck.

6. MALLARD'S NEST

A stocked fishing pond is right outside this charming cabin. Mallard’s Nest practically lets you live in the great outdoors, with covered decks and screened porches on all four sides. The cabin features a wet bar, pool table, and foosball table, so there’s plenty to do on rainy days. Mallard’s Nest accommodates up to four guests, so make sure you bring enough fishing poles!
