Take a scenic drive

Pigeon Forge is located in the Great Smoky Mountains, so it's no surprise that one of the best things to do is to simply take in the stunning scenery. Head out on a scenic drive and make sure to stop at some of the lookouts for photo opportunities.

No trip to Pigeon Forge would be complete without a visit to neighboring Gatlinburg. This charming town is home to a variety of shops, restaurants, and attractions, including Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies.

Things to See:

As we mentioned, Pigeon Forge is situated in the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains. So naturally, one of the best things to see is the national park itself. With over 800 miles of hiking trails, there's plenty to explore.

Another must-see in Pigeon Forge is the Old Mill, a historic gristmill that dates back to 1830. These days, it's a popular spot for photos and also houses a restaurant serving traditional Southern dishes.

One of the most unique attractions in Pigeon Forge is the Titanic Museum. This interactive museum lets you experience what it was like on board the ill-fated ship and pays tribute to those who lost their lives.

Things to Eat:

No trip to Pigeon Forge is complete without a visit to Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant. This popular spot is known for its all-you-can-eat country breakfast, which includes made-from-scratch biscuits and gravy.

For a more casual dining experience, head to The Old Mill Pottery House Cafe & Grille. This restaurant is located in, you guessed it, the historic Old Mill and serves up a variety of American classics.

If you're in the mood for steak, look no further than The Peddler Steakhouse. This family-owned restaurant has been serving up delicious steak dinners since 1976 and is definitely worth a visit.
