1. Tennessee Homemade Wines

Try Sugarland’s frozen wine slushies, nibble on cheeses, or drink wines by the glass. Popular wines include Cherry-Kee--it’s 100 percent cherries--and Elkmont, a loganberry wine. You’ll find traditional wines like chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon, plus Tennessee sweet fruit wines.

3. Gatlinburg Wine Cellar

Cotton candy wine? Gatlinburg Wine Cellar makes it--tangy grapes with a touch of sweet vanilla for a wine that reminds you of being a kid at the fair. Don’t miss other flavors like Birthday Cake (with hints of vanilla cake and buttercream frosting), Beary White (a crisp white wine), or High & Dry (a mix of five red grapes, for those who prefer a less sweet taste).

4. Bootlegger's Homemade Wine

Two sisters founded Bootleggers Homemade Wine, using traditional recipes to make small batches with all-natural ingredients. This small operation makes its wines using “just the stuff you’d find in kitchens throughout the South” and bottles each batch by hand. 

At their Gatlinburg store, taste and shop for red and white table wines, fruit wines including peach, strawberry, and blackberry, and a dessert wine called Redneck Reserve. Bootleggers features scuppernong, a Southern staple you just have to taste.
