Traveling from Gatlinburg to Pigeon Forge

When traveling from Gatlinburg to Pigeon Forge, you'll be happy to know that the two cities are less than 5 miles apart. 

On a normal day, travel to either destination should take about 5 - 7 minutes. During peak times, holidays and certain weekends, travel may take longer depending on the traffic and congestion. 

The road between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge is actually part of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and is a paved, 4 lane highway seperated by the Little Pigeon River in between the two north and south bound sections. 

Known as the "Spur," this road also offers access into the national park via the Gatlinburg By-Pass which takes travelers around Gatlinburg to Newfound Gap and the Sugarlands Visitors Center
