Experience Tennessee Homemade Wines in Gatlinburg

Inside its welcoming shops, Tennessee Homemade Wines is ready to introduce you to a Gatlinburg tradition you’ll want to carry home with you. Step up for a tasting and see what to expect!

Discover Southern Sweet Wines

Tennessee Homemade Wines makes authentic “Southern sweet wines,” keeping alive the Smoky Mountains practice of making wine with fresh fruit grown nearby. If sweet wine has never tempted your taste buds, try it and discover why it’s a beloved local tradition.

Enjoy Free Tastings

Sampling is the ideal way to know if what’s inside the bottle is what you want inside your glass. Stop by and stay a spell at either of these two locations.

  • Gatlinburg on the Strip

The original store is near Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies and Anakeesta. Look for the rustic “barn” with the old-fashioned tin roof. Step up for complimentary sips from the day’s tasting list. Shop and sample every day from 10 a.m. until 11 p.m.

  • Sevierville at Tanger Outlet Mall

Conveniently tucked into this famous mall, the Sevierville shop’s tastings make a relaxing break during “retail therapy”! Come in from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays.

Flavorful Local Wines

Sixteen wines–whites, reds, and fruit–will tickle your fancy. Try Great Niagara, white wine with a fresh taste only in the mountains of Gatlinburg. Maples Reserve is a three-grape blend creating a red wine with dark, rich berry notes. Fruit wines include peach, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, and passion fruit.

Old Apple uses a 100-year-old recipe to turn rough-skinned cooking apples into a light, crisp wine. Apple Orchard blends local apples to create a nostalgic apple pie flavor.

New Experimental Wines

Another 13 Experimental Wines pack a punch with flavors evoking classic treats and childhood favorites.

Marshmallow and cocoa tones turn Mountain S’more wine into a grown-up campout. Watermelon Crawl pairs tastily with salty or spicy foods. Peanut Butter & Jelly brings back memories of nutty Honey Peach boasts the sweet snap of candied peaches. Strawberry Cream is an unusual cream wine, cheerily dubbed “adult strawberry milk” by the winery, and great in cocktails or on its own!
