Description
A Rare Find cabin offers stunning mountain views from picture windows and the deck, providing a true Smoky Mountain experience. With one bedroom and two baths, it accommodates up to eight guests making it the perfect place to stay near Pigeon Forge.
Living Room
The open plan main level is crowned with a cathedral ceiling. This warm, wood-paneled living room defines “comfort.” A large, soft leather sofa and loveseat combo waits to embrace you—sink into the cushions. From these perfectly positioned, plush perches, you can watch the flat screen TV, gaze at a crackling fire in the stone fireplace, or enjoy the view outside the many windows gracing the living room walls. The choice is yours!
A unique, fun feature in the living room is the kids’ sleeping loft. You won’t see anything quite like this elsewhere. Accessible by a ladder, the loft overlooks the main level on one side, and on the other side, the kids get a spectacular view through the triangular window. Kids who stay here get a memorable place to sleep or pretend, thanks to this special loft.
Kitchen
Sharing the main level is the fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for meals and snacks (or for dishing up tasty takeout from Pigeon Forge’s eateries!). You’ll be surprised at how much terrific storage this lovely kitchen has for all your supplies and the handy cooking and serving utensils the cabin provides. There’s plenty of counter space for food prep, too. You won’t feel cramped in this kitchen!
Dining Area
Between the kitchen and the living room is a convenient counter with three beautiful wrought iron stools. Sit here to eat, sip a cup of coffee or keep the cook company in the kitchen just beyond. The counter is next to the dining area, where a round table seats four, in unusual and elegant comfort on leather seats. It’s only a few steps from the kitchen to the table, so it’s easy to get dinner on the table or clean up later.
Rec Room
Head downstairs to the lower-level game room. An old-fashioned pool table is ready for a family tournament or a solo game to test your skill. Spectators can hang out on yet another big, leather couch. A flat screen TV gives you another option for watching movies, catching the big games, or binging your favorite shows. Don’t let “lower level” make you think this game room is dark, though—it’s light and bright thanks to picture windows and a glass door giving you access directly onto the deck outside.
Bedroom
A Rare Find has one bedroom, but what a bedroom! The custom-built, king-sized, rustic log bed will catch your eye. The windows frame the Smoky Mountains views. There’s a flat screen TV for when you want to watch a show cozied up with your honey. In the full bathroom, you can choose between the shower and the relaxing, jetted tub.
Outdoor Spaces
The inviting deck might tempt you to spend all your time sitting outside. The views are A Rare Find’s true jewel. You’ll look out over treetops below and beside you, to see the gentle curves of the Smokies in the distance. Whether you’re taking in colorful fall hues, the fresh greens of spring and summer, or the sparkling frosts of winter, you’ll be swept away by these mountains.
The deck features a bubbling hot tub ideal for relaxing after a day of hikes, amusement parks, shopping or exploring in nearby Pigeon Forge. And this hot tub overlooks those same wonderful views!
Other Amenities
Be sure you’ve packed your bathing suits and pool toys because when you choose this cabin, you also get access to the nearby outdoor swimming pool.
