When you step into the living room, you’ll quickly understand why Altitude Adjustment is one of our most popular cabins. With the beautiful stone fireplace, wall-to-wall picture windows, white wooden ceilings, and rich leather furniture that is as soft as butter, this living room is only the beginning of your airy mountain retreat. As you explore the rest of your home away from home, you’ll soon see that every room in this cabin has majestic views that bring the Smoky Mountains indoors to you. No detail has been overlooked, from the flat-screen TV or the door that is waiting to take you to the outside deck. Your adventure is just beginning.
As with the rest of this beautiful cabin, the kitchen features lovely golden hardwood floors and under-counter lighting. The sage-colored cabinetry evokes the natural beauty that surrounds the cabin as far as the eye can see. The sink is in front of the windows, so even in here, you can keep your eye on the natural wonder that awaits you outdoors. Granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and fully stocked supplies ensure that even while you are in the mountains, you have every modern convenience.
Meals are a true joy in the Altitude Adjustment. Up to six can gather around the farmhouse table in a dining nook surrounded by windows. Your family can chat, laugh, and pass food around, as you watch for local wildlife. Nearby, a wooden block island can seat four more beneath barn lights, making your total seating space ten. This is how family meals were meant to be eaten—together! Connect after a day of sightseeing or hiking, and debate over what the best part of the day was.
The main level King suite features shiplap walls, charming décor, and a comfy bed that you will wake up in refreshed and ready to go. The views here, both from the windows and the deck, will take your breath away. There is also a flat-screen TV for your entertainment.
The views don’t stop in the bedroom. The spa-like bathroom has a sweet window seat where you can curl up and read a book. His and her sinks ensure that you have plenty of space, and a jetted-tub surrounded by natural rock waits to soak your troubles away.
You’ll find a second guest room on the main level, beautifully appointed, and with its own attached bath for privacy. The shiplap continues to this bedroom, as well as another flat-screen TV.
Continue down to the lower level, and you’ll find two more bedrooms. One is a King Suite, with deck-access near the steaming hot-tub, a jetted tub of its own in the attached bath, and his and her sinks. The other bedroom is a roomy King with a fourth bathroom nearby.
Each of these bedrooms are fully-appointed and ready for maximum relaxation.
Second Living Space
A second living room beckons from the lower level. A 55-inch TV with streaming capabilities awaits you, complete with surround sound and Blu-ray. Right off this fun area, you’ll find a Rec Room complete with a pool table for friendly family tournaments, and a wet bar with a mini-fridge. No detail has gone unnoticed here, no need unfilled.
This beautiful cabin has open and covered decks that features stunning views from the mountainside. You can soothingly rock in the rocking chairs, or soak in the hot-tub beneath the stars. Have your morning coffee out here, or watch the sun go down over the trees. The opportunities are endless, but you will surely spend a great deal of time out here soaking up the serenity.
Of course, you’ll need Wi-Fi for everything from planning your outings to checking your e-mail, and that is complimentary for all of our guests at Altitude Adjustment. A community pool promises fun days in the sun, and while you’ll feel like you are living in the mountains, you are within minutes of any convenience that Gatlinburg has to offer, from charming local eateries to grocery shopping, to entertainment.
All linens are provided, and there is a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Had a great time amazing views! Very comfortable beds. Seen a bear ?
We have stayed at this cabin before and just fell in love with it. The views of the mountains and downtown Gaitlinburg are amazing. Lots of room for are family vacation. Very clean and the rooms are spacious. Saw a few bears while we were there.
My family & I traveled to Gatlinburg for a much needed vacation. We rented the Altitude Adjustment cabin. The view was spectacular and the cabin was beautiful & spacious! We had enough room to separate and enjoy individual time. However, we also took advantage of the common area to hang out together. We enjoyed our time and hope you will as well!
We had a great family time together. The view of the Smokey Mountains from the house was amazing. The house was spacious and the kids had a blast as well.
Amazing Views, amazing cabin. All that was needed was available. Will consider visiting again. Thanks
If you're looking for a home with space for several families, views that will take your breath away and tranquility you didn't expect, this is it! Lovely, well kept home with all the amenities you need for a nice get away. Sit on 1 of 2 balconies and see the Gatlinburg space needle and mountains beyond. Play pool downstairs, sit in jacuzzi hot tub outside or explore the mountains or town. Well stocked kitchen, 4 king bedrooms with own baths, 2 living areas, separate dining room and large kitchen bar. Steep, windy roads, but all paved. Entrance to home is easy with only few stairs with handrail. If you don't mind driving up a mountain, this is the place for knock out views! We had 8 adults with 2 children and loved our time. Kids need pallet or sleep in queen size sofa downstairs if not sharing king bed with parents! Loved this place and the quietness around us. Great home!
We really enjoyed our time together at Altitude Adjustment. The house is very accommodating with a beautiful view. Thank you!
Amazing cabin had a great time everything was perfect will stay there again.
Beautiful cabin, Views are breathtaking, road getting there is a little scary, but worth it!
The cabin is beautiful. The views are AMAZING!!! We had everything we needed. Property management is very responsive, check in and out was quick and easy. If I ever go back will definitely try and stay at Altitude adjustment.
The cabin was amazing! We saw bears everyday we were their. We had a Momma and 4 cubs look in on us from the kitchen window! The drive up to the cabin is rough if your not comfortable driving
We LOVED our stay. Cabin exceeded expectations. We traveled with our three adult sons. Everyone had their own bedroom and bath. More than enough space to relax after long days of hiking, etc. We all enjoyed the pool table and hot tub in the evenings. We sat on the decks in the morning and evenings. The views from both decks are amazing - both day and night. We saw a mama bear and her three cubs just below the deck one night. It was so cool. We loved having a full kitchen and gas grill to prepare our meals. We never ate out. Food City is a great grocery store only at 20 minutes away, just outside of downtown Gatlinburg. We ate breakfast and dinner in, and packed lunches for our days hiking and exploring. It's definitely a mountain drive up to the cabin. Make sure you have someone in your group that feels comfortable driving such roads. A few activities we highly recommend: Ziplining with Climbworks, hike Alum Cave trail, Newfound Gap, Clingman's dome, Laurel Falls, and Cades Cove loop. Again, stellar cabin and cannot recommend it enough!
We loved our stay here and the location! The view was great and the outdoor space is the perfect space for soaking it all in.
This cabin has it all. All the comforts of home except here you have absolute peace and quiet. Nice furnishings, all linens, cookware, lots to do in Gatlinburg minutes away. Last but certainly not least a million dollar view, words and pictures don't do it justice this is a have to see for yourself. Will definitely be back to this cabin.
Had a nice time could have not been any better for me and the family will visit again in the future
Amazing views. We had a bear visit within the first two hours we were there. But amazing cabin and vacation. Thank you.
The highlight of this cabin for me is the view. From this high altitude perch, you look down the valley through the heart of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, with a long range view of the mountain ranges in the background. The night view of the city lights far below may be one of the best available. The Space Needle is in the foreground and you can watch the vehicle lights slowly work through the Gatlinburg strip. There's nothing like spending the day in Gatlinburg, then relaxing in the hot tub in the evening quiet, looking down at the city lights far below.
A very nice mountain property with everything we needed to make for an enjoyable time. The entire cabin was clean and comfortable. Beautiful sunrises over the mountains and the view overlooking downtown Gatlinburg was great. We also saw a bear! My only suggestion is to bring some dishwasher soap as the cabin only supplied two packs. Also, there was no laundry soap so BYO on that too. No complaints here. Loved it!
The cabin was extremely clean, had all necessities needed, and one of the most beautiful views in the southeast! Really enjoyed our stay and look forward to the next time we get the opportunity to stay at Altitude Adjustment!
It was more than I expected!
Lovely cabin with spectacular views. The road up to the cabin is a little daunting for a “flat lander”. We saw one bear at a neighboring cabin and four bears outside of our cabin. Truly a memorable visit!
We had a great time. We says bears the 1st day. Mama bear with three cubs gave us a treat. One of the cubs took a little nap in the tree. What an amazing cabin and wonderful views to watch nature!!
The view! The view cannot be described..... Mountains, clouds and twinkling lights from Gatlinburg at night. So much more than expected. A wonderful way to introduce out kiddos to the Smoky Mountains. We will be back!!
Beautiful view!! We love it here and hope to come back.
The cabin was very nice we really enjoyed our stay.
We have stayed in this exact cabin now 5 times! We love this cabin. It's home away from home! Than you for sharing it with our familiy. We look forward to having our own here soon!
The cabin was beautiful.
This place was great and the view is amazing. The hot tub view is the best and the cabin is 2 miles from the strip in town.
