Description
Cabin in the Stream is a two-bedroom cabin rental for up to eight guests offering a secluded and private creekside setting just minutes away from downtown and the amusements of Pigeon Forge, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the peacefulness of a mountain vacation.
Living Room
Come on in–you’ll feel right at home. The modern farmhouse decor is warm and welcoming. Wood, leather, and unique metal accents set this spot apart from most Smokies cabins. The first thing you’ll notice is the huge sectional sofa, just begging you to kick off your shoes and relax. Start a fire in the hearth, turn on the flat-screen TV and enjoy your favorite shows, movies, or sports. Sip coffee or hot chocolate from the nearby kitchen – so convenient!
Kitchen and Dining Area
The fully equipped kitchen makes it simple to whip up meals, fix snacks or picnics, or have fun baking cookies with the kids. All the cookware, serving pieces, and dishes you need are right here. The handy, compact kitchen features stainless steel appliances and stone countertops.
The kitchen includes a rustic, painted wood dining table with bench seating so there’s room for everyone to gather. This is a great spot for checking email or playing games when dinner’s over.
Bedrooms
Cabin in the Stream accommodates eight guests in total comfort. Two queen-bed suites offer delightful decor. One features a delightful, retro automotive theme with artwork of classic American road trips. The second bedroom is an ocean-blue oasis with a beachy vibe. Which will you choose for your great night’s sleep?
Downstairs, kids and teens will love the fun and privacy of their very own bunk room, where two single bunks are tucked into an alcove. Right around the corner are a video game console and a flat-screen TV, so the youngsters can enjoy themselves while the grown-ups hang out upstairs!
A queen sleeper sofa in the downstairs sitting area adds even more options. Two full bathrooms give everyone space to get ready in the mornings.
Outdoor Spaces
Right outside, a clear, cool mountain stream flows past this cabin. Stroll to the stream bank and settle down in one of the chairs here, or dip your toes in the shallow water. This stream practically invites you to wade. Watch for wildlife along the bank and under the trees. Or just close your eyes for a spell. You might dream of Dolly and Kenny’s hit song, “Islands in the Stream” as you drift off next to your “Cabin in the Stream”!
The cabin is in Shagbark community, so you get access to the resort’s seasonal swimming pool. Bring Frisbees and try the nine-hole Frisbee golf course, too.
Back at the cabin, you’ll want to spend hours on the two roomy decks. Pour a glass of Tennessee moonshine (or grab a Tennessee Moon Pie!) and head for the upper deck. The deck’s table holds a fire pit in its center, so you can sit around the sparkling blaze while you chat or eat.
Grillmasters will be eager to fire up the gas grill on the deck. Marinate some steaks and get ready for a cookout!
The roofed, lower deck is home to your private hot tub. Imagine slipping blissfully into warm, soothing water after a hike in the Smokies or a long day at Dollywood.
Other Amenities
Complimentary WiFi means you can get work done, book tickets to attractions, or order takeout easily.
The full-sized washer and dryer make cleanups quick. Parking is easy and ample, just outside your door.
