Location
Description
Tucked in the woods, this log cabin combines soothing decor, plenty of space, and a location close to all the fun of Gatlinburg! The two-bedroom cabin sleeps up to six guests in comfort, with room to spread out, thanks to a bonus living area and outdoor space.
Living Room
The open plan main level of this pretty cottage combines rustic touches with modern conveniences. The blonde wood walls and ceiling surround you with their natural tones, and overhead, the exposed log beams bring the outdoors indoors.
In the living area, curl up anywhere on the ample seating--the plush leather sofa, loveseat, and recliner, plus a gorgeous extra armchair by the gas fireplace. You can see the big, flat-screen TV from anywhere in this airy room. The decor is delightful country chic throughout, from the checkered window treatments to the rich rugs to the metal light fixtures.
Dining Area
The dining table seats six with ease, but take a moment before dinner to look over this unique dining set. The table is hewn from a slab of wood showing all the beautiful wood grain. Matching benches, plus log chairs, invite you to sit in this cozy nook to eat meals, play board games, or check your email.
Kitchen
The galley kitchen is just steps from the dining table so serving up homemade dishes or local takeout is a breeze. The kitchen boasts new stainless steel appliances, a big “farmhouse” sink, and a terrific bar counter with loads of space for food prep or for watching the chef work. Four comfy leather barstools add extra seating. Lay out a taco bar with all the fixings, or an ice cream buffet for dessert!
Bedrooms
Behind its sliding barn door, the main bedroom’s king bed is dressed in an adorable bear-themed quilt. The large windows let in sunlight and views of the trees outside. The bath is especially charming, with side-by-side double sinks shaped like farm pails set in a wood counter!
The second bedroom features a queen bed, plus bunk beds and a pull-out futon that serves as a couch when it’s not in use as a bed. This is a great space for kids and teens! Windows and a skylight make the room feel big, and the overhead TV lets everyone hang out to binge shows or sports. The second bath’s decor stars that Smoky Mountains icon, the black bear, plus another unusual sink made of stone.
Bonus Living Area
The spacious loft is a second living area, with a sofa, rocking chair, and an overstuffed easy chair. A one- or two-player gaming console is loaded with video games promising hours of fun for kids and adults alike.
Outdoor Space
Enjoy meals outside on the elegant, stone patio, where two dining tables and seating for eight await you. Bring your morning coffee or afternoon glass of Tennessee fruit wine out here to enjoy the fresh air. The bubbling hot tub is close by, ready to soak away your cares. Fire up the grill nearby and toss on meat or veggies.
