OBER’S OKTOBERFEST


Location Ober Gatlinburg
September 24 - October 31, 2021 Ober Gatlinburg is celebrating autumn with a fantastic festival featuring Bavarian-Style food, drink and music. Our 11th Annual OktOBERfest will be held from September 24-October 31. The Smoky Mountain Oompah Band, in authentic costume, will perform traditional folk dances with free shows daily. Guests can enjoy live entertainment & a Bier Garten featuring specialty Oktoberfest bier and foods. When you have had your fill of yodeling, schnitzel & Bavarian beer, you can enjoy everything else that Ober Gatlinburg has to offer. Some of the activities include our new Rock Wall, The Ski Mountain Coaster, Indoor Ice Skating, the Alpine Slide, the Chair Swing, the Scenic Chairlift, Kiddie Rides, the Wildlife Encounter & more. DOLLYWOOD HARVEST FESTIVAL

September 24 - October 30, 2021 Dollywood’s Harvest Festival presented by Humana provides bushels of fun thanks to everyone’s favorite Smoky Mountain tradition, Dollywood's Great Pumpkin LumiNights. Dollywood stays open late each evening giving families more time to enjoy the glow of thousands of carved pumpkins throughout the park. Dollywood guests also can enjoy the spectacular artistry of visiting crafters from across the country or sample the special harvest-themed food items from Dollywood’s award-winning foods team. Each day is a picture-perfect opportunity for families to enjoy the experiences of a Smoky Mountain harvest....

GREAT PUMPKIN LUMINIGHTS AT DOLLYWOOD

September 24 - October 30, 2021 Great Pumpkin LumiNights, presented by Covenant Health, is just one of the fun things to see and do at the annual Dollywood Harvest Festival. Dollywood’s Great Pumpkin LumiNights features spectacular lighted pumpkin displays throughout the Dollywood park, which glow with the fire of fall. And this season’s event promises to be even more spectacular with a large crop of beautiful sunflowers that have sprouted in Wildwood Grove, a massive glowing 40-foot tall pumpkin tree and the larger than life Ambercup pumpkin figure that shines bright. There’s loads of fun for families to experience all throughout Dollywood this fall!...

RONNIE MILSAP IN CONCERT

Country Tonite presents Ronnie Milsap as part of their 2021 Celebrity Concert Series. One of country music’s most popular and influential performers of the 1970s and 1980s. He’d go on to top the country chart more than a dozen times with such enduring hits as “Let My Love Be Your Pillow” and “What a Difference You’ve Made in My Life”. He became one of the most successful and versatile country “crossover” singers of his time, appealing to both country and pop music markets with hit songs that incorporated pop, R&B, and rock and roll elements. His biggest crossover hits include “It Was Almost Like a Song”, “Smoky Mountain Rain”, “(There’s) No Gettin’ Over Me”, “I Wouldn’t Have Missed It for the World”, “Any Day Now”, and “Stranger in My House”. OLD MILL HERITAGE DAY

Old Mill Heritage Day in Pigeon Forge is a family friendly way to experience the past and present of the area. This free event includes many exciting ways to see firsthand what life as a Smoky Mountain pioneer was like. Activities include mountain crafts & demos, such as pumpkin painting, quilting demonstrations, a farmer’s market, sorgum making demonstrations, and more! There will also be world-class bluegrass, traditional folk songs, cloggers, twirlers and square dancing. Be sure to bring the whole family, as there are plenty of kids activities. There will be a petting zoo, fire truck, kid’s music and also a special arts & crafts tent. These activities will be available until 4 pm. Attendees will also be able to take a free guided tour of the 188 year old Historic Old Mill and see how antique engines and farm tractors were used....

NATIONAL QUARTET CONVENTION

September 26 - October 2, 2021 Gospel Music’s largest gathering is coming to Pigeon Forge! Join 40,000 people from 40 states and a half dozen foreign countries for the largest annual event in Gospel Music. Reserve your seats now for the National Quartet Convention. The NQC has been held annually since 1957, and took place in Louisville Kentucky until 2014, when it moved to Pigeon Forge. Visitors in town for the convention can expect to spend their days perusing booths representing musical artists, record labels, CD duplication plants, media entities, booking agents, Christian bookstores and other industry related organizations in the LeConte Center....

RIPLEY’S FRIGHT NIGHTS


Location Ripley's Haunted Adventure
October 2 - 30, 2021 Ripley’s Haunted Adventure will be hosting its Annual Fright Nights show on weekends this October. The theme for the shows will be announced soon. Visitors can enjoy a howling good time at these shows on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights this October. For the regular cost of admission, visitors can experience this multi-million dollar, year-round haunted house with a new theme and new ghouls stalking its dark corridors. Shows start at 6pm with a character parade to kick off the night. Children must be at least 6 years of age to enter, however, during our Fright Nights shows the house is geared more toward ages 12 and up!...

WOMEN OF JOY

WEARS VALLEY FALL FEST

October 15 - 17, 2021 The Wears Valley Fall Fest brings visitors together to celebrate the Smoky Mountains and the beautiful fall colors, crafters, entertainers, activities and more. Three days of family fun will take place next to the Tennessee State Bank on Wears Valley Road. Families can enjoy crafts, food, entertainment and kids activities from 10 am to 6 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday. Crafts: The Fall Fest features a diverse group of artisans, showcasing traditional and contemporary crafts. Learn more about the craftsmen already confirmed or sign up to participate. Food: Enjoy various Festival foods, from the popular steak on a stick and grilled corn on the cob, to BBQ, Greek and Italian. For dessert, try Fall goodies such as gourmet caramel and candy apples. Entertainment: Southern gospel, country, folk, Elvis… with a full lineup on stage throughout the weekend, there’s something for everyone! TRACY LAWRENCE IN CONCERT

RIPLEY'S TRICK OR TREAT KICKOFF KARNIVAL

A fantastic family Halloween day event at the aquarium in Gatlinburg. Fun for visiting guests and local residents – contests, costumed characters, candy and a pumpkin contest plus trick or treat safety from the Gatlinburg Police Department and fire safety from the Gatlinburg Fire Department. Annual Trick or Treat Kickoff Karnival will be held on Halloween at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies. Contests, costumed characters, games, food vendors and lots of candy will help make an unforgettable event for resident and visitors of all ages....

DOLLYWOOD’S SMOKY MOUNTAIN CHRISTMAS

November 6 - January 2, 2022 Christmas is a magical time at Dollywood. Enjoy Smoky Mountain Christmas, an award-winning festival known for being the best across America. This year, there will be more lights & shows, a themed area and all of the classics that you know and love. GATLINBURG CHILI COOKOFF

For more than 30 years, the city of Gatlinburg has celebrated the beginning of Winterfest with its annual Gatlinburg Chili Cookoff presented by Bush’s Beans. The tradition continues with live entertainment and mouth watering chili sampling, with mouth-watering recipes of homemade chili ranging from mild and delightful to wild and adventurous. City leaders will participate in an official lighting ceremony for Smoky Mountain Winterfest that features millions of twinkling lights adorning Gatlinburg Winter Magic light displays throughout the city....

FANTASY OF LIGHTS CHRISTMAS PARADE

Gatlinburg’s Annual Fantasy of Lights Parade will roll through Downtown Gatlinburg in celebration of the holiday season and the arrival of the man in the red suit himself, Santa Claus. GATLINBURG NEW YEAR’S EVE BALL DROP & FIREWORKS

Gatlinburg will welcome the arrival of 2022 in unique style with its Annual New Year’s Eve Ball Drop & Fireworks Show around the intersection of Parkway and Historic Nature Trail at the base of the Space Needle late December 31. At the stroke of midnight on January 1, 2022, the ball will drop and fireworks will blast off the rooftop of the 400-foot tall Space Needle with special music choreographed for the fireworks show produced by Pyro-Shows of LaFollette, Tennessee. The Space Needle has added rhythmic LED lights to the tower, making for a spectacular display....
